Recently, an online meeting of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42/JWG 6, the Joint Working Group on Conformity Assessment of AI Systems, was held. Dr. Li Yue from Beijing Daluhangxing Quality Certification Center Co., Ltd. (HXQC), as a Chinese expert in the field of conformity assessment, took an in-depth part in technical discussions on two key international AI standards: ISO/IEC 26582 Artificial intelligence — Conformity assessment for the functional correctness of AI systems and ISO/IEC 26741 Artificial intelligence — Framework for the description of AI systems as objects of conformity assessment. Dr. Li submitted comments incorporating practical experience and technical insights gained in AI conformity assessment to the working group.
During the meeting, national member bodies conducted technical review on the two standard development projects, with a total of 114 comments received, including 37 comments for ISO/IEC 26582 and 77 comments for ISO/IEC 26741.
As a professional conformity assessment body, HXQC will continue to deeply participate in the development of international artificial intelligence standards. Drawing on frontline practices in conformity assessment, HXQC contributes technical experience from China’s conformity assessment sector, helping build a scientifically rigorous international standard system for trustworthy artificial intelligence adapted to global industrial practices.
